Impact sockets

Impact sockets are special sockets used in conjunction with an impact wrench. Impact wrenches deliver high torque to a fastener, making them suitable for heavy-duty work on components that are tightly secured, such as wheels. Standard sockets cannot withstand this force, but impact sockets are made from strong enough materials to handle it.

Impact sockets are subjected to forces ranging from 300Nm to 1000Nm. Normal steel isn't strong enough to withstand these forces and vibrations. That's why impact sockets are made from chrome-molybdenum steel. This material is incredibly strong and is also used for roll cages in racing cars.

Buying impact sockets

At Winparts, you can choose from a wide range of high-quality impact sockets and impact socket sets. These offer several advantages.

Impact sockets can withstand high forces without breaking or deforming, making them ideal for intensive use. The sturdy material and precise fit prevent your tool from slipping, which is important for safe use. With impact sockets, you can work quickly and efficiently, even with very tight nuts and bolts.

Before purchasing, check if the impact sockets fit your impact wrench. The most common sizes are 1/2", 3/4" and 1". Make sure the sockets are also the right size for the bolts and nuts you're working with. With our wide range of professional brands, you'll easily find all the right tools.
